extra inning affair between seattle and baltimore. game tied at 1-1 in the 11th. adam jones gets a two-run homer. seattle trying to get something going in the bottom of the inning. saunders, thrown out trying to steal second base that ends the game orioles win it 3-1. with that win the a's lost, baltimore moves ahead of oakland in the american league wild card. angels 3.5 games out. detroit five back. the rays even closer, st. louis hanging on to that last spot. houston, they get homered. on the way to a 5-0 win over the last place astros. the brewers and pirates both trying to make a run. first inning, leads off the game with a home run but brewers pitcher who had the big night. fifth inning, hits an rbi double down the right-field line to make it 2-0. brewers win that one 3-1. milwaukee stays 2.5 games behind. dodgers two games back. philadelphia is four games back. pittsburgh is fading fast. when we come back on this thursday, crime fighting baby. we'll see how these cute images of these kids here may be key in keeping violence down in one london neighborhood.
